We pursue our own interests; whether they be sustainability, the arts, 3D modelling, collaboration, typography, digital storytelling, motion graphics...

Sustainable Innovators!
Alto's Good Friday initiative has been recognised and awarded the local Sustainable Innovation Award in this years Get Sustainable Challenge, and received a judges Special Commendation at the national awards. We 'lost' to the mighty Fonterra, but we are pleased as punch that Fonterra (and others) are making such huge transformations in the direction of sustainability. Thanks to the SBN, and all the lovely members of the network for a memorable night and for creating such an amazing business opportunity for us. The phones are going hot!

Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra
The Wellington International Ukelele Orchestra are rapidly becoming a cultural institution in Wellington. For some strange reason, people go crazy for ukulele. The WIOU needed a website to field all the enquiries they were getting, and they needed it, like, yesterday.
The brief: to create a website with a gig guide, links to my space, contact details and other random information in two hours with a draft logo and no clear design direction. The result? Check it out.

The Sustainability Trust

Intersect
We are yet to host the intersect event, but we came up with the intersect concept on a Good Friday, and developed this interactive invite to help explain what we wanted the outcomes to be. We thought it would be fun to engage people from a range of different sectors and interests (and potentially different political views) to participate in this dialogue. If you would be interested in particpating, email us, and we will add you to our invite list.

Fiona Pardington
Fiona was having a trip to Paris for some major schmoozing with top museums and galleries and she urgently needed to post 'something' online from her recent bodies of work. This website was up and live by the end of the day!

Arbour day
Arbor day is a great idea (although it has to be said that it would have been a better idea if it had been in spring.) It was FREEZING. There were loads of lovely kiddies from the local schools. Their little fingers were freezing too. We reckon that all together, the Alto team probably planted 150 trees. If that wasn't enough reward in itself, the park rangers put on a great feed afterwards.
Alto were the only corporate group at the Arbor Day planting and it was a wee bit lonely, so next time we will invite you too. Don't forget your mittens!

With the help of the Alto team, Rob's 1st foray into motion graphics came together nicely for the short zombie film The Macarbe by David Griffiths. Set to music by the Phoenix Foundation.
